Despite the Android receiving plethora of updates ranging from Icecream Sandwich to Jelly Bean, users are not always satisfied with the look as compared to that on iOS. However, thanks to the ever-increasing number of smart developers switching to the Google OS, we can enjoy new Android themes and Wallpapers enabling us to change the appearance of the priced possession.
Even if you love the default Android user interface you can still try the new ROMs, icon packages and launchers to give your phone a completely stunning look. Today, we have a similar theme that will not only change the appearance but will give your phone a fresh new look.
The developer behind this featured Android theme is popular in the community as RJT, and has named his creation as the Dark Jelly theme. Just what it does is change basically every component of your Galaxy UI into white and black, with some Holo Blue added for elements.
The theme requires some additional workaround to recreate the complete effect, and like most of the powerful themes you will have to first root your Android handset with ClockworkMod Recovery installed, use JellyBro ROM, for the black-and-white look simply use the DarkJelly theme, the DroidIcon Pack for the icons, install the Nova Launcher app(paid) to alter the icons? location and modify the launcher, and finally, for Mail, Call, Text, Work all the text-based shortcuts install the Simple Text Icon Creator.
The dark background theme is always better for increasing the battery backup and looks great on the AMOLED displays. You can read more on the source of this theme via the link below.
